That would be difficult. It won't be released to the theaters in Japan until 6/23/07, according to the official website.

You people are going to have to be more patient. Go to the website and click on the "theaters" section. It is still opening in theaters across Japan. It is scheduled to open in some theaters on 8/18, 8/21, 8/25, 9/01, and 9/22! And most of the theaters where it opened in June or July and still showing it!

It's going to be quite a while before a dvd is released.

To (partially) answer my own question - It looks like the torrent has subs available, provided by another poster; not sure about the rapidshare files.

BUT there is a megaupload version of the movie at:

This one has only four files to download plus the subs file and should be much easier to get since megaupload doesn't have the wait delay that rapidshare does.

Note 1 - you have to combine the .001 and .002 parts of each CD using WinRAR, 7zip or HJSplit. Not hard to do but see here if you need help:

Note 2 - you have to make sure the .avi file and it's corresponding .srt file have the same filename. As downloaded from megaupload they don't, so you have to change one or the other so the subs will display in your video player (works in Media Player Classic, not sure of other players).

As an experiment I'm trying to do my own torrent of the movie using OpenBitTorrent. I've only downloaded torrents, never made one, but if anyone wants to test it the torrent is at:

I'm not able to seed 24/7 but I normally can from 9am to 5pm US Pacific Time and maybe later in the evening.
